Biography
mark wehlke, born in Munich, Germany, started his electronic career in 1989. after his first big bookings on germany´s most popular rave scenes, he changed his name to dj manga and released his first records in 1994.his tracks gained him more and more recognition worldwide, so it was just a matter of time until he played the big international techno festivals:

over the years techno music changed a lot, so did his name. as marc manga, and meanwhile as a highly respected artist in the electronic music scene, he released several successful tracks on big music labels like kosmo music, netrecord-z, edm, bit music, boy records. club tools and bmg records. he also did a lot of remix work for dj tomcraft, sm-trax, bossi (Cosmic Gate), milk+sugar and a project with sunbeam. 2004 he quit his pseudonym and released from now on as mark wehlke on f-tone (kosmo music). the first single “one” (2005) was a big hit in the clubs in italy and germany and was featured by many djs like sven väth, karotte, tom wax, ingo boss, boris dlugosch, loco dice, tania vulcano and many more. his next release, “two” (2006), was successful in italy, france and germany and had also a big international dj support. in the end of 2006, remixes of the single “one” were released, featuring mixes from karotte and ingo boss (cocoon/Frankfurt). In spring 2018 his rmx for zurra "feels like" was released on the uk based label D.B. Stereo with massive feedback from many top djs. In winter 2018 his Rmx for Flatliner was released on Coop Records. In 2022 he released with his old mate van heeken under his old name dj manga on ravemuzik. Also he did a colabo with spanish dj and producer xavi bcn for bcn records. no matter his international success, he never turned his back on his loved hometown munich and still loves to perform in the city’s most popular clubs like rote sonne and ampere He's a founding member of the collective "munich techno". mark wehlke found his style is techno music in all spectres, giving it his personal touch with his great and powerfull mixing skills
